In this ambitious book, Mr. Brewer-Ward utilizes an easy-to-follow outline arrangement to trace the thousands of royal descendants of Maria Theresia and Franz I. Mr Brewer-Ward devotes an entire chapter to the lines of each of the nine children or grandchildren of Maria Theresia who had progeny, tracing their descent to the present day. All persons are identified according to both the name and title by which they are best known (in boldface) and all other names and secondary titles, their dates and places of birth and death, dates of marriage, names of spouses and children, and so on.
