This is an index to the 1800 census of New York, in effect an alphabetical list of the 100,000 heads of households residing in New York at the time of the second census of the United States. All 100,000 persons enumerated are listed with references to their county of residence and a citation to the page of the National Archives microfilm on which the full census enumeration appears. For further research, page citations are keyed to microfilm roll number, county, and town or township schedules.
