Fleeing persecution in Silesia (eastern Germany), the followers of Caspar Schwenkfeld emigrated to Pennsylvania in the years 1733-37. In all about 140 families emigrated. Using these records as a foundation, this present work is a complete genealogical record of the descendants of the immigrant Schwenkfelders. Beginning with the immigrant ancestor, the genealogies proceed through an average of five or six generations and name altogether about 10,000 individuals.
