This is a collection of the oldest extant land records for Baltimore County. The abstracts identify the names of all parties to the deeds, including witnesses, the names of the tracts, any descriptive phrases giving the location of the property, and the consideration for which the land was conveyed. Altogether, the book identifies more than 3,000 persons referred to in the deeds.
