If you purchase the three-volume set Massachusetts and Maine Families, by Walter Goodwin Davis, you will receive a CD version of the Davis set at no additional cost. (The Davis CD also contains a two-volume collection of Cape Cod families.)
Reprinted in these three volumes are seventeen books that comprise one of
the major achievements of twentieth-century genealogy--the multi-ancestor
compendium compiled and published by Walter Goodwin Davis between 1916 and
1963. These 2,100 pages authoritatively cover 180 families, all of Davis"s
colonial forebears plus nineteen English families in the immediate ancestry
of American immigrants. Massachusetts and Maine Families is largely a
compendium on "north of Boston" families.
The Davis CD contains, besides the aforementioned three-volume set, a
two-volume consolidation entitled Cape Cod Library of Local History and
Genealogy, that is based on a little-known series of 108 pamphlets
published at Yarmouthport, Massachusetts in the early 1900s.
Massachusetts and Maine Families once sold for $135. On any given day, you can buy it in our Genealogy Warehouse for just $75. While supplies last, you can now own the Davis CD, a $29.99 value, at no extra cost.
