The Common Pleas Court Records book consists of abstracts of Darke County Minute Books, Chancery and Partition Records, and various miscellaneous sources. The records abstracted include guardianships, estate records, petitions, pension claims, licenses, naturalization records, partitions of land, and more. All of the records place a person in Darke County during this period of time; however, a majority of them also establish relationships between two or more of the 3,000 persons mentioned in the abstracts.
