The work at hand captures the genealogical essentials of Preble County Deed Books 1 through 4, spanning the period 1808-1821, the oldest surviving Preble County deeds of record. The abstracts found here, typically, furnish the names of the principals to the transaction, the date the deed was recorded, a description of the property, the amount paid for the land, the names of witnesses to the deed, and a citation to the original deed.
