About two-thirds of the Greenville Township cemetery inscriptions are actually from Greenville City cemetery, with the other sixteen cemeteries comprising the balance. The overwhelming number of cemetery abstracts give the name of the deceased and his/her years of birth and death. In many cases full dates of birth and death are given, as are the names of family members and references to military service.
