Printed under the direction of the distinguished New Jersey genealogists William Nelson and William S. Stryker (among others), the index contains references to about 7,500 individuals and to hundreds of special subjects relating to the founding and settlement of colonial New Jersey. This hard-to-find index volume places thousands of obscure references at our fingertips.
