Our early Adams families were in the early colonization of the Quinebaug river valley and became part of its history. Documentation is presented connecting Consider Wood to Josiah Wood, a descendant of Henry Wood of Middleborough, Massachusetts. After the Revolution, Consider and Mary Wood settled in Dutchess County, New York, and then moved to Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
