Genealogy CDs represent excellent value because each CD is the equivalent of an entire shelf of reference books. CDs come with an electronic index that makes searching for names even faster than with books alone. About two-thirds of the 150 CD-ROM publications in our collection are known as Family Archive CDs. Each of our Family Archive CDs contains images of the pages of the books featured therein, and each CD contains a collection of the best reference books on a specific topic, such as Virginia vital records, New England families, Irish immigration, and so on. Other CDs contain census records, lists of marriages, wills and administrations, and other genealogy source records.
